Great Grandparents

These are my great grandparents on my Dad's side.

112 years ago (January 20, 1903), Vincent M. Baxa, Sr., and Ella A. Blazek where married.

Both celebrated their birthdays a day apart: Vincent's birthday was on January 19, and Ella's on January 20.

State Fair

We had a REALLY good time at the State Fair. Big THANKS to Grandma and Nana for helping wrangle all the kiddos! We were blessed to have my two nieces, Julianna and Brooklyn, with us as well. Notice the absence of men - they were off hunting pigs in Texas.
Group shot at the very beginning (minus me)

middle row: Paul Brooklyn, Rebekah, Julianna

fried oreos
surprisingly not that bad, but I probably would not have ordered them on my own
(someone actually gave them to us - bizzare, I know - don't worry, no one died)
Jacob, happily eating pizza (he gets more happy as he gets tired)

going home - grumpy faces

Rebekah would not stand with the others or look at the camera

Samuel & Rebekah totally crashed out - they all slept the whole way home and then for another 40 min or so as I unloaded the car - I finally had to wake Jacob up to bring him inside.

Museum

Here is Naoh pointing to the dinasaurs that move. Noah loves the museum. He and his mother volunteer there. (Noah is my nephew.)

This T-rex would move his head and roar when you walked up (motion sensor). It wa pretty neat. Obviously, it scared Jacob (see next photo).

Jacob looking at the big 'ole T-rex as he roared and moved his head.
The following are from the museum's Discovery Room.
Jacob on the big spider.
